BeeOasis Step 1

Common Craft is a great website. Their product is explanation. They make short videos. Their videos are simple, and they explain big ideas in plain English. BeeOasis and Common Craft are similar. Common Craft shares big tech ideas with video in plain English. And BeeOasis shares the big ideas of the arts and sciences with text and audio in basic English.

There are many new and big ideas in the world of tech. And Common Craft explains them very well. One of these big ideas is Twitter. Twitter is a special kind of small blog. Millions of small messages are sent on Twitter every day. Barack Obama uses Twitter to communicate with his supporters. And there is even a website that lists the top 100 Twitter users.

twitterAround 40% of Twitter users are from the US. And 39% are from Japan. But these numbers change every day. Why use Twitter? David Pogue at the New York Times says this. Twitter is a great way to get news and ask questions. You can also closely follow public people you admire. Twitter is great for “real-time, person-to-person broadcasting.” At BeeOasis, we are using Twitter too. We like it, and we think you might like it too. To learn more, watch this clever video about Twitter from Common Craft.
